Data currency and offline use

All data are retrieved from public NOAA sources. When your device is offline, Boat Safe may display the most recently saved data, which can be hours or days old. Each section shows an update time or date — always check it, and do not assume displayed information is current.

Data are provided by the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) / National Weather Service and is used without modification of its meaning. NOAA does not endorse, and is not affiliated with, Boat Safe or Ocean Bight LLC.
